Cooking with Essential Oils
Did you know you can use essential oils in your cooking?! My favorite Nature's Sunshine essential oils to use in the kitchen are: Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Wild Oregano, Peppermint (forgot to mention in video!), Pink Grapefruit, Rosemary, Sweet Marjoram & Wild Thyme.

DO NOT use any essential oil (especially in cooking or internally) if you are not 100% positive it is organically grown, extracted without petroleum solvents or high heat/chemicals, GMO-free & completely unadulterated. "Therapeutic grade" really means nothing & is strictly a marketing term. MOST essential oils on health food store shelves contain contaminants (pesticides/insecticides, heavy metals like lead, additives, petroleum solvents, etc) and/or are genetically modified (GMO). Just as essential oils go directly into our bloodstream within seconds AND every cell in our body within 30 minutes, so do the contaminants of these "cheaper" oils. The harmful effects can be worse then the benefits of the oil.
*All essential oils from NATURE'S SUNSHINE exceed this criteria, which is why I personally use & recommend them :)
